Over the past 20 years, we have developed a world-leading phosphates business in Saudi Arabia, which is now among the top 3 exporters of phosphate fertilizers worldwide and catersto around 20% of the global phosphate trade. Through Maaden Phosphate Company, MaadenWa’ad Al Shamal Phosphate Company, and Maaden Fertilizer Company, located primarily at Waad Al Shamal and Ras Al Khair industrial cities, we have the capacity to produce over 6 million tons of phosphate products and 3 million tons of Ammonia.

We are expanding internationally with global distribution networks, notably with ouracquisition of African-based Meridian in 2019, working with farmers to supply high-quality fertilizer products to meet food security needs.

Our Base Metals and New Minerals (BMNM) business is focused on realizing the potential for gold, copper and other metals including silver, and zinc in KSA. We are continuing to expand our role as a significant gold producer with annual production of over 407,000 ounces.

We operate seven gold mines and a copper mine in joint venture with Barrick in the Central Arabian Gold Region, with a commitment to sustainable and innovative practices.

Our mine-to-market aluminum business plays a key role in Saudi Arabia’s industrial landscape, as the first fully integrated aluminum value chain in the Middle East.

Maaden aluminum plays a crucial role in feeding domestic and global markets with high-quality products, supplying to over 22 countries worldwide. With a strong commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge technology, we are driving growth, innovation, and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Our exploration efforts underpin the development Saudi Arabia’s mining landscape. We are advancing the largest single-jurisdiction greenfield exploration program globally, scaling up to meet ambitious 2040 growth targets and unearth the Kingdom’s $2.5 trillion mineral endowment.

Through key partnerships with Ivanhoe Electric and Barrick Gold, Maaden has slashed exploration timelines in Saudi Arabia from 10 years to 2-3 years. Our use of advanced technologies and geological techniques has uncovered world-class deposits of phosphate, bauxite, gold, and base metals, expanding our resource base and ensuring the long-term growth and prosperity of the Kingdom’s mining sector.

Ma'aden's Industrial Minerals Business Unit is a vital force in developing Saudi Arabia's vast industrial mineral reserves, which play a critical role in industries ranging from construction to agriculture and wastewater treatment.

The company specializes in extracting and processing materials such as low-grade bauxite (LGB), kaolin, and caustic calcined magnesite (CCM) to meet local and regional demands.
